A large part of
effective crisis management is conducting training drills to make sure that
everyone understands their role in the event of an emergency. During such
a training drill, you overhear an employee mention to a colleague that these
drills are a huge waste of time and energy.
As a manager within the organization, discuss how you would address this
situation. Would you immediately address, or wait for an opportunity to address
everyone? Explain your decision. Then respond to two other students’ posts; do
you agree or disagree with their rationale(s) and why?
