Choose a disease or issue you see in your practice. Examples might be
- ED: automobile accidents
- ICU: ventilator-associated pneumonia
- OB: pre-term labor
- Mental Health: addiction
These are just a few examples – there are other areas of practice and many other issues.

Go to Chapter 6 in your textbook and review the different epidemiology models. Use the steps in Table 6.1 on p. 148 to create a response to the issue you have chosen. Note, that in order to complete the investigation, you will need to do an investigation in the workplace and in the literature.
